Basketball at The Club

Get In The Lab with Hoop Science Academy

Learn the fundamentals of basketball and become a more confident athlete with Hoops Science Academy’s weekly basic fundamental training. Our experience and passionate coaches, Nada Gomaa and Jordan Boyd, will cover stationary and full court ball handling, footwork and shooting technique, catch & shoot drills, shots on the move, drive & kick, passing, defense, court spacing, transition, sportsmanship and IQ. On top of these fundamental skills, we also emphasize agility, strength training and endurance to give our athletes complete basketball workouts. Join us and not only will you become a better basketball player, but you’ll have fun becoming the best version of yourself.

About this Program:

  • 2 Leagues: 7-9 years or 10-12 years
  • Takes place at The Club at Prairie Stone
  • New sessions monthly

Young Gunz with A2ZOE

This class is for 3rd-5th Grade boys and girls interested in the sport of basketball. The class will be an introduction to the game of basketball. The class will offer ball handling and shooting technique training.

Climbing at The Club

Parent / Child Climbing

This class is designed to help you and your child gain basic knowledge of climbing. In this class you will also learn belaying techniques and safety guidelines that will qualify you to climb independently, or to belay your child. Parents must be able to demonstrate all techniques and pass the instructor’s criteria to become certified. The fee is per person, and both parent and child must enroll. In order to become belay certified the same parent must attend all classes.

  • Ages 5+ with their adult
  • Held at The Club at Prairie Stone
  • Certification will be valid for The Club at Prairie Stone Climbing Wall only and will expire one year from the end of class

Youth Climbing


Explore the popular adventure sport, rock climbing. Kids will learn how to climb safely with The Club at Prairie Stone certified wall instructors. Students will learn the basics while gaining confidence in their ability to overcome challenges. This class is for beginners.

Indoor Swimming at The Club

Swim Tots

Young swimmers who are ready for lessons without their parent will learn basic skills in a fun atmosphere while developing independence as they become comfortable in the water. This class prepares young swimmers for Level 1.

  • Ages 3-4

Parent Tot Swim Lessons

This class, with an adult in-water, is designed to facilitate familiarity with the water and build comfort. Instructors will act as facilitators and coordinate both structured and unstructured activities to promote water exploration. The child/parent ratio is one to one.

Group Swim Lessons – Levels 1-6

Using an enhanced swim lesson curriculum, our swim instructors will provide children concentrated instruction through small group lessons. Small group lessons (with a max of 4 children per group) give your child the additional attention and instruction to focus on developing their swimming skills.

Parent’s Night Out at The Club

Enjoy a night off and take some time for yourself while your kids have a blast at The Club at Prairie Stone™. Kids will participate in age appropriate activities including games, crafts, gym time, climbing wall (4+), a pizza dinner, and a movie. Members of The Club receive resident rates. Pricing: Residents: $30 for 1st child, $20 for siblings. Non-Residents: $35 for 1st child, $25 for siblings.

Pickleball at The Club

Pickleball 101 & 102

By the end of class, players will be capable of playing a game without the need of assistance. Join one of the fastest growing sports in the Midwest! This class will teach the basics of pickleball and more! You will learn basic pickleball safety, rules, grip, strokes and scoring. By the end of the class, players will be capable of playing a game without the need of assistance. Class will be waitlisted at 4 players, however players will be added off the waitlist in groups of two to keep game play even.

  • You will learn basic pickleball safety, rules, grip, strokes and scoring
  • Ages 14+

Yoga at The Club

Baby & Me Yoga

Come join us to meet other new parents in a comfortable, supportive environment. Sing, play, release stress and anxiety all while helping to gain or regain muscle tone, strength, and bond with your baby! No experience required. Ideally, babies should be able to lift their heads but not yet be crawling for the best experience. Please bring a blanket for baby.

Toddler Yoga & Play

Come have fun and connect with your toddler while improving strength, coordination and flexibility. We will take a yoga adventure in this class with fun animated yoga poses. We’ll hiss in cobra pose, bark in down dog and flutter our wings in butterfly pose. We will build body awareness, learn breathing and relaxation techniques all while bonding with your child. Caregivers are welcome.
