Swimming

Fall 2020 Indoor Swimming Lessons at the Club – Registration is OPEN

Swim lessons are back! New structure! Private lessons and small group lessons only.

Using an enhanced swim lesson curriculum, our swim instructors will provide children concentrated instruction through private and small group lessons. Private lessons or small group lessons (with a max of 3 children per group) give your child the additional attention and instruction to focus on developing their swimming skills. All swim instructors will wear face shields to protect your child and themselves.

COVID Guidelines:

  • To limit the amount of patrons in the facility and on deck, only one parent/guardian is allowed on deck. Please also limit only one bag brought on deck. (Coats can be placed in locker rooms).
  • Swimmers should come to facility dressed in swimsuit
  • Swimmers should be on deck 5 minutes prior to lesson start time
  • Locker rooms are available, but we are asking each family to limit the amount of time spent in locker rooms.
  • Parents/guardians must wear masks while on swim deck. Swimmers will remove masks while in water.
    • Since swimmers will not be wearing masks, any swimmer with any signs of illness must remain at home. Temperature checks will be done prior to entering the pool.
  • For group lessons, swimmers will be socially distanced while along the pool wall.
  • Swim instructors will wear face shields during lessons

Indoor swimming lessons are available year-round at The Club at Prairie Stone (5050 Sedge Boulevard). Students will become confident in the water and refine strokes so they can swim. Hoffman Estates Park District offers Lessons for Parent-Tot to Adults.
