The area’s premier community theater company, HOTT Productions, NFP-Helping Others Through Theatre is proud to bring the joy, laughter, warmth and exaggerated stereotypes of an Italian American wedding and reception to the Northwest suburbs.
You don’t have to be Italian to love an Italian wedding.
As Joey and Maria exchange vows, the audience plays the part of family and friends joining them for the reception feast and the hilarious family drama which ensues. Theater goers will enjoy an array of embarrassing, bumbling and colorful wedding scenarios as they witness the union of these distinct and forever funny families.
Wedding guests will enjoy: Prenuptial cash bar; the wedding ceremony; the wedding reception, featuring a champagne toast; Italian buffet by RoccoVino’s; wedding cake; live music by The Dyanamix ultimate classics cover band; and dancing.
Hott Productions, NFP-Helping Others Through Theatre presents “Joey & Maria’s Comedy Italian Wedding” at the Hoffman Estates Village Hall, 1900 Hassell Road, Hoffman Estates on Saturdays, April 6 and 13: Cash bar/cocktails 6:30 p.m., ceremony 7 p.m., reception following; Sunday, April 7: Cash bar/cocktails 4 p.m., ceremony 4:30 p.m., reception following; and Friday, April 12: Cash bar/cocktails 6:30 p.m., ceremony 7 p.m., reception following.
Tickets are $75 per person; $560 for a table of eight (includes taxes).
