About

Freedom Run Dog Park is a 4-acre off-leash facility operated jointly by Hoffman Estates, Elgin, and Streamwood, dedicated to honoring Military Service Dogs who have served alongside our armed forces. The park features separate areas for large and small breeds, agility equipment, dog water stations, picnic tables, and waste disposal bags. Membership with current vaccination records and entry is controlled by a membership card. With seasonal drinking fountains for both pets and people, it’s the perfect destination for dogs and their owners to enjoy quality outdoor time together.

Membership & Vaccination Requirements

Process & Policies
Freedom Run is a permit-only facility dedicated to safe, off-leash play. To join our community, all dogs must be current on Rabies, Distemper, Para-influenza, Parvo, Bordetella, and Leptospirosis vaccinations, and have a current negative fecal test.

How to Join:

  1. Download the Dog Park Registration Form, Waiver and Rules for full rules and requirements.

  2. Obtain a copy of your dog's vaccination records from your veterinarian. All seven vaccinations with expiration dates and a negative fecal test must be listed.

  3. Bring everything to one of the following locations in Hoffman Estates:
    1. Triphahn Center & Ice Arena (1685 W. Higgins Rd.)
    2. Willow Center (3600 Lexington Dr.)
    3. The Club at Prairie Stone (5050 Sedge Blvd.)
Please Note: For those that live in Streamwood or Elgin, please visit your local locations (found in the Dog Park Registration Form)

Annual Membership Fees (Resident / Non-Resident):

Fees
  • First Dog: $55 / $78
  • Additional Dogs: $15 / $20 (per dog)
