9.3.19 – Motor Vehicles Policy

Unlawful Operation of a Motorized Vehicle or Device.

Unlawful Operation of a Motorized Vehicle or Device Motorized vehicles or devices, exclusive of battery-operated children’s toys not to exceed 5 miles per hour and operated under adult supervision, are prohibited from all open spaces, parks, and walking and riding paths, unless being used without the motor engaged. Persons with disabilities may operate electric or battery powered carts designed to mitigate those disabilities while on sidewalks and pathways so long as those carts are operated in a safe and appropriate manner.
