Basic 1–6 (Ages 6 & Up) – Learn to Skate USA
Basic 1–6 classes teach skaters ages 6 and older the core fundamentals of ice skating, building a strong foundation for figure skating. These progressive levels introduce essential skills like forward and backward skating, stops, edges, crossovers, and turns, with testing at each level to ensure proper mastery before advancing. Each class focuses on confidence, balance, and technique in a supportive environment, helping skaters develop strong fundamentals that prepare them for specialized figure skating.
