Program

Youth House League Basketball

The Hoffman Estates Youth Basketball League offers boys and girls in 1st–8th grade the opportunity to learn and develop basketball skills in a fun, supportive, and recreational environment. Volunteer coaches will emphasize individual fundamentals such as footwork, shooting, dribbling, defense, teamwork, game strategy, and sportsmanship throughout the season.

  • Teams will practice once a week for one hour, with practice days and times determined by the volunteer coach’s availability between Monday and Thursday evenings. 
  • Week of November 16-Practices for 5th–8th grade boys begin 
  • Week of November 30-Practices for 1st–4th grade boys and girls, along with 5th–8th grade girls begin
  • Games will take place on Saturday’s:
    • Home games for 1st–4th grade divisions will be played at the Triphahn Center & Ice Arena
    • Home games for 5th–8th grade teams will be played at Willow Center. 
    • Regular season games for 5th–8th grade boys begin in December, while games for 1st–4th grade boys and all girls’ divisions begin in early January 2027.

Important Dates:

  • November 1 – Registration Deadline for all levels
  • November 7 – Evaluations for Boys’ 5th–8th Grade Teams at Willow Center, times TBD
  • November 19 – Coaches Meeting for 1st-4th Grade Boys’ divisions and all Girls’ divisions
