The Willow Center is a cornerstone facility of the Hoffman Estates Park District, dedicated to enriching the quality of life for residents through diverse and inclusive recreational programs.

Willow serves as a vibrant, multi-purpose community hub that supports health, education, and social interaction for all ages.

Focused on Family and Fun

Willow Center is a primary home for HEParks’ core programming:

  • Youth Development: The Willow Center houses Preschool and preschool programs that support young learners as well as our popular Summer Day Camps. 

  • Active Lifestyles: The facility features a spacious Gymnasium used for youth and adult sports and open play-featuring Volleyball, Pickleball and Badminton. Unique to the space are Racquetball Courts along with a new Gymnastics Studio. The site also houses outdoor Tennis Courts and Skate Park.

  • Creative Arts: The Center hosts HEParks’ Dance classes, along with various special interest workshops.

  • Dog Park: Explore Bo’s Run Dog Park with your furry friend.
  • Palatine Library’s North Hoffman Branch: Check out a book or movie.

Whether you’re looking for your child’s first dance recital, learning how to flip and tumble,  a welcoming space to pick up a game of pickleball, or a convenient meeting spot for a community group, the Willow Center is dedicated to providing high-quality recreation close to home.

The Willow Center (WC) is a conveniently located, community-focused destination for health and wellness, offering exceptional value in a welcoming neighborhood setting. Open to all abilities and fitness levels, the recently refreshed facility features a brighter, cleaner, and more inviting environment.

Members enjoy essential cardio and strength-training equipment, quality recreational amenities, and the added benefit of an affordable dual-center membership with the Triphahn Fitness Center, making active living accessible for everyone.

  The WC fitness center focuses on essential equipment and integrated facilities:
  • Updated Cardio and Strength Rooms: The WC offers newly updated equipment in dedicated cardio and strength training areas, catering to general fitness needs.

  • Racquetball Courts: The facility includes two racquetball courts track perfect new and seasoned players.

  • Gymnasium Access: Fitness members and drop-in guests are welcome to enjoy scheduled open basketball in the gymnasium.

Bo's Run Dog Park

This two acre green space is named after Bo, the Hoffman Estates Police Department’s first K-9. Bo graduated from The Chicago Police Department’s Canine Training Center certified as a patrol and narcotic dog. This park is dedicated to all the Civil Service dogs that have served our community.
  • Bo's Biography
    • 4/20/93 to 8/22/05. Service Dates: 4/13/94 to 2/3/03. Bo graduated from The Chicago Police Department’s Canine Training Center certified as a patrol and narcotics dog. During Bo’s service time, he amassed over 1,465 canine service calls. In addition to Bo’s service to the Hoffman Estates Police Department, he served over twenty local police departments and nine county, state and federal agencies.
    • Bo’s accomplishments include the recovery of over one hundred pounds of various narcotics, one hundred articles of narcotic paraphernalia and $130,000 in currency. Bo was credited with the life-saving recovery of one person on a track and thirty suspects. Bo also located fifteen articles of evidence and participated in over one hundred officer safety uses. Bo enjoyed his contacts with the citizens and public relations.
