Program

HEParks freeskate program guides skaters through the next stage of their figure skating journey, building on Basic Skills to develop stronger edges, turns, spins, and beginning jump technique. These progressive levels introduce more advanced elements such as forward and backward stroking, crossovers, basic spins, and foundational jumps, with testing at each level to ensure mastery and readiness for higher‑level figure skating. Designed to give skaters a solid technical base, the Free Skate pathway helps them grow confidence, precision, and artistry as they move toward more specialized or competitive skating opportunities.
