Satisfaction Guarantee Policy
The satisfaction guarantee is based on keeping the District’s promise to provide quality parks, recreation programs and leisure services. If participants are not satisfied with the recreational program, event or activity the District provides due to:
- the quality of instruction,
- the child’s inability to adapt emotionally to the class,
- or the skill level is not appropriate for the participant
The district will arrange for participants to:
- repeat the class at no charge,
- receive full credit that can be applied to any other program,
- or receive a refund
Satisfaction guarantee requests can be made in person, by calling, writing, or emailing the district. Memberships and league fees are pro-rated.
- A processing fee will be charged for all refund requests.
- No refunds are offered after the first class unless the request falls within the Satisfaction Guarantee Policy as redefined or there is a medical reason with a doctor’s note.
- Medical reason refunds be prorated accordingly.
- All Satisfaction Guarantee refunds be 100% and without processing fees.
Military Discount
Active duty, active reserve, veterans, retired military, police or fire personnel and their immediate household family members, are eligible for a 10% discount on program registrations and memberships. Proof of service form must be provided at the time of registration. Discount is not available online.
Customer Service Pledge
Our satisfaction guarantee is our promise to provide quality parks, facilities, recreation programs and leisure services that meet the expectations of our customers. If you are not satisfied with any recreational program HEParks provides due to the quality of instruction, the child’s inability to adapt emotionally to the class, or the inappropriate skill level for the registered participant, a full refund will be processed.
To determine that a class does not meet their satisfaction, participants must attend the first two class sessions, but request a refund and fill out all appropriate paperwork before the third class meeting. No processing fee will apply to refunds issued under the Satisfaction Guarantee Policy. If you are not satisfied, we would appreciate your comments, suggestions, or ideas for improvement. Please look for our customer comment cards at all district facilities.

Cancellations Policy
HEParks reserves the right to cancel classes due to insufficient registration or causes beyond its control. If a class is canceled, we will make every effort to contact you by email. In cases of extreme weather, cancellations will be posted at our information hotline at 847-285-5508 x1. Please call this number for weather-related cancellations.

Transfer Policy
Transfers from one class to another, when space permits, can be made in person at Triphahn, Willow or The Club by completing our Request For Transfer Credit/Refund.
Refund Policy
In order to receive a refund, please call our office at 847-885-7500 at least 24 business hours in advance of the program start date. There is $5 administration & processing fee for refund requests. After the start of class, all refund requests will be reviewed and pro-rated refunds will be issued if applicable. Full refunds will not be issued, except as outlined in the Satisfaction Guarantee Policy. A household credit will be issued for any refund under $10. Preschool, camps, league deposits, trip or membership payments are considered separately. Please call (847) 885-7500 for specific policies. Refund request forms may be completed online or at Triphahn Center & Ice Arena, Willow Center or The Club at Prairie Stone. Please allow up to one week for processing.

By providing your email address during registration, you give permission to the Hoffman Estates Park District to send emails to that address regarding events and programs. If you decide not to receive email, you can unsubscribe at any time using the link in the email. Review our Privacy Policy.
Errors & Omissions
The Hoffman Estates Park District staff has made every effort to prepare our marketing material as accurately as possible, however, errors can occur. Circumstances may require that adjustments be made to programs, fees, schedules, etc. The park district reserves the right to make any such adjustments. The Hoffman Estates Park District apologizes for any inconvenience these errors may cause.
