Season after\nseason, Mallory has been a great example of what we look for in a volunteer\ncoach. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>By becoming a coach, you have chosen to work with young\nathletes. You have chosen to guide them through the trials and tribulations of\nlearning TWO games: Sports <em>and <\/em>Life.\nYou are in a position to change their lives forever, not only by making them\nbetter athletes, but better people. You are a leader, you are a role model, you\nare a person who serves your athletes, and you are a person to whom they\nentrust their physical and emotional well-being.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enthusiastic, caring and fair are just a few words to\ndescribe Mallory. Mallory is yet another soccer coach whose players are\nconstantly asking to be on her team. Whether they are winning or losing, they\nare always having a great time on the field. Many times Mallory has coached\nmultiple teams in the same season.&nbsp; Her\ndedication to the kids and the teams is something really special. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We are proud to present Coach Mallory Whalen with this\nmonth\u2019s Best of Hoffman Award. <\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Over the past six years, Coach Mallory has served the community as a head soccer coach for 1st through 6th graders.
