Mask & Vaccination Requirements – effective 2\/28\/22<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

On February 28, 2022, mask and vaccination requirements for Cook County, per the Governor and CCDPH mandates, will become optional for our public patrons. Although masks will not be required indoors at HEParks, we support our patrons who choose to wear one while inside our facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We ask patrons to respect one another\u2019s masking decisions, and we require all patrons to not use any facility or attend any program if displaying symptoms related to COVID-19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Until further guidance is received, masks are required on all bus transportation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Who is required to wear a mask? <\/strong> Anyone on HEParks Bus Transportation must wear a mask.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Can I still wear a mask?<\/strong> You have the choice to wear a mask at anytime in the HEParks facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What should I do if….<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

I have been in close contact with someone with COVID-19?:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • If boostered, vaccinated within 6 months (Moderna\/Pfizer) or vaccinated within 2 months (J&J):
    • Can continue to participate<\/li><\/ul>
      • Test on Day 5<\/li><\/ul>
        • Stay home if symptoms develop<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
          • If unvaccinated OR vaccinated more than 6 months ago (2 months ago with J&J) with no booster:
            • Stay home for 5 days<\/li><\/ul>
              • Test on Day 5<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n

                COVID Diagnosis:  (Regardless of vaccination status)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

                • Stay home for minimum of 5 days<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n
