The All Sports policy divides sports into risk categories based on contact, group size, and ability to socially distance while playing. The comprehensive plan is available <a href=\"https:\/\/dph.illinois.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/All%20Sports%20Policy%20-%20Updated%20Jan.%2021%2C%202021.pdf\">online<\/a> from the State of Illinois. Updated guidelines go into effect statewide on January 22, 2021. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:37px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.heparks.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/10\/Mask-and-All-Sports-Update-October.pdf\">Quick view of the changes to the All Sports Guidelines and New Mask Guidelines. <\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How does the All Sports Policy affect the programs at HEParks?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Below you will find the sports offered at HEParks with the steps the district is taking to conform to the new guidelines. If you have any questions about any guidelines reach out to <a href=\"mailto:akapusinski@heparks.org\">Alisa Kapusinski<\/a>, Director of Recreation, at akapusinski@heparks.org or 847-781-3634.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:40px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Masks must be worn during every sport and activity. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-28f84493 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>High-Risk Programs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">These programs can have only non-contact practices and trainings.  <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Baloncesto<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Masks are required during basketball practice and play. <\/li><li>Youth players must have a signed parental consent form on file to be able to play. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Football<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Hoffman Hawks runs the football program. Please\nreach out to them directly for information on league play changes at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hoffmanhawks.org\/hoffmanhawks\">HoffmanHawks.org<\/a>.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Hockey<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Youth and Adult Hockey Leagues will not run in\nthe fall. <\/li><li>Clinics and skills training programs will run in\nthe fall. Staff is developing high-intensity training programs for players\ndisplaced from league play.&nbsp; <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Artes marciales<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Will continue to run with skills and drills\nclasses.<\/li><\/ul>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Medium-Risk Programs<\/strong> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Non-contact practices and trainings are permitted, and intra-team scrimmages are allowed with parental consent.&nbsp; Competitive play is not permitted.<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Racquetball<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>&nbsp; No league games. <\/li><li>Singles play only.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>F\u00fatbol<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All players must wear masks while playing.  <\/li><li>All Soccer players in each age group will join a team with up to 25 players. Each 25 person team will scrimmage within their group on Sundays. <\/li><li>Current youth summer league players will receive communication regarding parental consent from the program manager. Player consent is mandatory for participation. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong data-rich-text-format-boundary=\"true\">Futsal<\/strong><!--StartFragment--><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Voleibol<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><!--EndFragment--><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Low-Risk Programs<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Players can participate in Intra-conference or Intra-EMS-region or intra-league play\/meets only. State- or league-championship game\/meet is allowed for low-risk sports only. Minors may participate in intra-team scrimmages, no-contact practices, and training with parental consent. Competitive play is not allowed. &nbsp; <\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Baseball and Adult Softball<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Masks are required during baseball and adult softball practice and play. Players are required to maintain 6 feet apart in dug-outs. If unable to maintain distance, then players must spread out around the dug-out. HEParks is requiring masks to be worn within dug-outs.  <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Gimnasia<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Staff is currently evaluating if fall gymnastics will be offered.&nbsp; Additional cleaning procedures are being created.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Patinaje art\u00edstico<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Freestyle and private lessons will remain as\nscheduled.<\/li><li>Group skating lessons will be available in\nfall.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Pesca<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>There are no changes to the program.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p> <strong>Voleibol<\/strong> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Cheer\/Baton<\/strong><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>These additional sports programs do not fall\nunder the new guidelines and will run as currently scheduled:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Pre-K Sports Enrichment\/Sports Instructional Programs<\/li><li>Golf lessons<\/li><li>Tennis\/Pickleball<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Field and Ice Rentals<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Available for practices only.
