{"id":5655,"date":"2019-04-30T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2019-04-30T00:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.heparks.org\/best-of-hoffman-april\/"},"modified":"2025-12-12T15:48:08","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T21:48:08","slug":"best-of-hoffman-april","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.heparks.org\/es\/best-of-hoffman-april\/","title":{"rendered":"Best of Hoffman April"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\nEnvironmental Club from MacArthur School has made a positive impact in our\ncommunity and epitomizes The Best of Hoffman. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This\npast fall, they reached out to the park district about the possibility of teaming\ntogether to build a butterfly garden outside of their school to help protect\nthe Monarch Butterfly species. &nbsp;The park district was excited to work with\nthe Environmental Club and advocate for positive change within the local\nenvironment. After discussion, it was agreed that the butterfly garden would be\nlocated on the west side of MacArthur School, just north of the\nplayground.&nbsp; The Environmental Club jumped\ninto action and began planting fescue seeds, pollinator plants and butterfly\nweed. &nbsp;The students also designed the sign that will be placed at the\nbutterfly garden. &nbsp;<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Environmental Club from MacArthur School has made a positive impact in our community and epitomizes The Best of Hoffman.
