Hoffman Walks – Dec 2

Join us for our next Hoffman Walks event. This event is one in a series of free walking events, called Hoffman Walks. The next event is Sat. Dec. 2 from 9-10:30 AM at Prairie Stone Sports & Wellness Center. On one Saturday each month, HE Parks will host a walk at a park or facility open to all ages and abilities. Improving Health and Wellness For All

The Friends of HE Parks provides a valuable service to our community. The dedicated volunteers who run this organization work tirelessly all year to raise money for scholarships to help families in our community who would otherwise not be able to participate in park district programs. In 2016, the Friends of HE Parks provided $17,778 in funding so that adults could stay healthy at our fitness centers, and so kids could go to camp, take swimming lessons, participate in youth sports, to name just a few important ways the money is used.
