Half Day CampsPreskool Kidz CampThis two-hour camp is a great way to introduce preschool-aged children to the camp experience, as they explore, learn, play and make new friends. Three- and 4-year-olds enjoy arts and crafts projects, songs, outdoor play, active games, and sports. All campers must be toilet trained! Kinder CampKinder Camp is bursting with excitement! Kindergartners will make new friends, as they explore weekly themes through craft projects, classroom activities and outdoor play. Safety TownThis early childhood safety education program introduces preschool aged children to everything from pedestrian, car and bike safety to fire and home safety. Children drive Big Wheels through simulated streets to learn the value of street safety. Under guidance, youngsters practice safety-related solutions in a variety of hands-on situations. Visits from police officers and other safety professionals aid in the learning process. Full Day CampsCreative Arts CampBe a part of this exciting camp for children entering 1st-5th grade in fall 2008. We will explore creative arts, such as theater, art, pottery, dance and crafts. Qualified instructors fram a variety of performing arts fields will share their knowledge so campers get a well-rounded experience. Campers will swim at Seascape Aquatic Center on Mondays and Wednesdays, experience the arts on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and attend field trips on Friday. Campers must bring a sack lunch every day. Each camper will receive a camp t-shirt and bag. Explorer's CampGet ready for summer fun with Explorer's Camp! Our camp program offers kids a chance to explore a variety of summer fun in sports, crafts, games, nature activities, art projects, science experiments, drama and music and more! Armstrong and Thomas Jefferson will swim Tuesday and Thursday at Seascape Family Aquatic Center. Timber Trails site will swim on Monday and Wednesday. All day field trips are scheduled on Fridays. Campers should bring a sack lunch and beverage each day. An afternoon snack will be provided daily. Each camper receives a t-shirt and bag. Jr. Explorers Camp is for children entering 1st-2nd grade in Fall 2008, while Explorers camp is for children entering 3rd-5th grade in Fall 2008. And kids who really love camp can enjoy added hours of fun with early-arrival and late-stay programs. No camp July 4
Sports Plus CampsIf you love the challenge and excitement of learning new sports, this is the camp for you! Each week campers will learn a new sport through drills, game situations and special clinics. along with learning fundamental skills and rules in each sport, campers discover the value of good sportsmanship and the importance of belonging on a team.Each week we'll go on one field trip. Swimming at Seascape family Aquatic center will take place on Mondays and Wednesdays. Once a week, campers will also visit the driving range, indoor climbing wall, or ice rink. Campers must bring a sack lunch, beverage and water bottle to camp each day. Teen CampMajor fun is in store for sixth- through eighth-graders. We've planned a variety of activities and trips that will help young adults develop leadership skills while enjoying new experiences. Activities include sports, arts and crafts, swimming, field trips and more. Bring a sack lunch and beverage each day and remember that refrigeration is not available. Each teen camper receives a t-shirt and bag. Swimming is scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays. Field trips are held every Friday. Community Service projects are scheduled once a week. Campers must be entering sixth-grade in fall 2008. And kids who really love camp can enjoy added hours of fun with early arrival and late stay programs. Science Discovery CampKids discover the fun of science...not just in class but outdoors! In this specialty camp, kids will experiment with different scientific methods. Bubbles, water, chemistry, and rockets are just some of the encounters we will discover together. Campers will enjoy a Friday field trip and visit Seascape on Tuesday and Thursday. Mondays and Wednesdays are dedicated to experimenting and fostering a love of science. Nature Exploration CampYour child can explore what nature offers in this educational and fun camp. Kids will be given the opportunity to lean about their natural environment through hands-on activities including nature walks, crafts, and games. Help your child gain an appreciation of nature.
