Volleyball League / Grades 5-8

The Hoffman Estates Park District will be offering a youth volleyball league for boys and girls. While having fun is the main goal of this program, developing basic skills will be encouraged. Practices will be week nights at various Hoffman Estates sites. Games will be played on Saturday mornings / afternoons. The six game season begins Saturday, November 7 and runs through December 19. No games the week of November 28. Practices begin in October. Registration deadline is Friday, September 18. Come into Tripahahn to fill out Volleyball Registration Form.

Youth Volleyball Game Schedule


Youth Basketball League / Grades 1-8

Saturday games are played at PSS&WC, Willow or Timber Trails Elementary School. Practice sites and times determined by the head coach. Registration form available at Triphahn or Willow.

Feeder Basketball

Available for girls, grades 5 through 8, who are interested in playing basketball at Hoffman Estates High School. The program gives athletes an opportunity to meet and play with possible future teammates, while developing and practicing the skills needed for success on the high school team. Feeder basketball tryouts are held in fall.

Football

Youth football leagues, offered in conjunction with Chicagoland Popwarner, are available for kids ages 5–14 and weighing up to 160 lbs. There is also an unlimited-weight team for 11–13 year-olds. Participants play against teams throughout the Chicagoland area. Teams form in late spring and the season runs August through November. Youth football registration and scheduling is coordinated by the Hoffman Estates Athletic Association (HEAA), a volunteer parent organization affiliated with the park district. Cheerleading

Youth cheerleading, offered in conjunction with Chicagoland Popwarner, is available for kids ages 5–14. Participants cheer against teams at games throughout the Chicagoland area. Teams form in late spring and the season runs August through November.  Cheerleaders also compete in a series of local competitions including a conference, regional and possible national championship in Disney.
