12th Annual Communi-Tee & Celebri-Tee Golf Outing

Tuesday, July 20th at Poplar Creek Country Club
The day begins at 10:00 a.m. with a driving range warm-up led by Poplar Creek Country Club’s PGA staff. The tournament kicks off at 11:00 a.m. with a shotgun start. A light lunch and beverages will be provided on the course. A cocktail hour is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. A dinner buffet will be available following the tournament, and prizes will be awarded to the team with the low gross score.

There is a $125 fee per golfer, which includes golf, cocktail hour and all meals. Those interested should register by July 16, 2010. A special registration form is available at all Hoffman Estates Park District facilities. Email This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. There are also numerous sponsorship opportunities for local businesses to help out this worthy cause. Sponsors are welcome to distribute materials and information from their designated area on the course. “This event is a great way for businesses in the community to give something back to the disadvantaged youth in the area”, said Scott Triphahn, Foundation Chairman.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Hoffman Estates Park District Foundation, which helps enhance the quality of life for all community members through its family recreation assistance program, park enhancement program and other special projects. The family recreation assistance program helps provide recreational opportunities to disadvantaged families in Hoffman Estates, through recreation scholarships. Donations to the Foundation are tax deductible as defined by Section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code.
