Kindergarten Enrichment Teacher- 2010-2011
The Hoffman Estates Park District is searching for a qualified individual to lead the new Kindergarten Enrichment Program. Staff will lead the class in science, math, art, physical fitness, literacy, writing, spelling, letter and word recognition, and social studies that corresponds with their monthly themes. This program helps reinforce what they are learning in the classroom as well as new and exciting projects. A variety of different activities, projects and field trips have been planned that correspond with the monthly theme. Degree preferred in early childhood education, elementary education or minimum of 5 years teaching experience leading a classroom/child care. Program runs the entire school year, August 2010-June 2011. Hours are from 11am-6pm, Monday-Friday.

STAR 2010-2011 Before & After School Program
Before and After School Counselors
Duties and Responsibilities:
Site Coordinators: Site Coordinator oversees the daily operations and functions in relationship with providing a safe and fun environment within the before & after school program. The Site Coordinator will plan and implement daily activities, projects and crafts. Supervision of children in various activities such as active time, homework, prepares and serves snacks, greets participants and their parents upon arriving and leaving the site.
STAR Counselors: Works directly with the site coordinator to oversee the daily operations of the STAR program. STAR staff is responsible for leading and organizing daily activities for all children to participate.

Armstrong School, Fairview School , Lakeview School, MacArthur School, Willow Recreation Center, Thomas Jefferson and Whiteley Schools
Days/Hours of Work:
August 2010-June 2011
Monday through Friday
AM: 6:45-School Starts
PM: Dist 54 Schools 2:45-6:00 / WRC 2:15-6:00
Salary: Varies
