Toy Story 3 welcomes back Woody, Buzz and the whole gang back to the big screen as Andy prepares to depart for college and his loyal toys find themselves in …daycare! These untamed tots with their sticky little fingers do not play nice, so it’s all for one and one for all as plans for the Great Escape get underway. A few new faces join the adventure, including Barbie’s counterpart Ken, a thespian hedgehog named Mr. Pricklepants and a pink strawberry-scented teddy bear called Lots-o-Huggin’ Bear.

 

Teen Cornmaze Trip

Friday, September 24 from 5:00-10:30PM
The "World's Largest Corn Maze" is a 28 acre corn maze that takes around 1.5 hours to complete. After the maze, we will enjoy hanging out by a campfire eating hot dogs and s'mores. Dress warm, wear old shoes, bring a flashlight and meet at CCIA. Registration required.  Click here to register.

3rd Annual Scarecrow Festival

Saturday, September 25th from Noon – 3:00PM                                                                                                           The Hoffman Estates Park District will host its third annual Scarecrow Festival at Vogelei Park, 650 West Higgins Road. This event will be held in conjunction with Nickelodeon’s Worldwide Day of Play. There will be a scarecrow contest, food, games & activities, children’s entertainment, an outdoor climbing wall and more

Disc Golf Doubles Tournament

Saturday, October 2, 10:00AM
Register today for our first doubles disc golf tournament at the new Black Bear Park. The cost is $20 per team and there will be two divisions: a Pro Advanced and an Amateur. There will be a maximum of 26 teams between the two divisions. The tournament will be one round of 18 holes. Check in is at 9:00AM. Halloween Bash

Saturday, October 30 from 10:00-11:30AM at CCIA
Come dressed in your Halloween costume and be prepared for a morning of fun, pumpkin decorating, Halloween games, crafts and snacks! Everyone is sure to find something they enjoy. Pumpkin Swim

Saturday, October 30 from 1:00-1:45PM at Prairie Stone Sports & Wellness Center
This activity packed event at Prairie Stone Sports & Wellnes Center is the perfect way to celebrate Halloween. Children will start off parading through the 100,00 square foot facility picking up healthy treats along the way. The parade will end in the activity pool where each participant will swim in our pumpkin patch to find a pumpkin of their own. Participants can then decorate their pumpkin to take home. Come dressed in your costume with your swim suit on underneath. Adult supervision is required. Don't miss this unique Halloween event!
