Eagle Scouts Build Archery Range, Donate $600

img_1456A big THANK YOU to Brett Bertok and Niko Soriano, Eagle Scouts, who planned the construction, raised funding for the project and coordinated the building of the shed to house the equipment. They had $600 leftover from their fund raising efforts, which they donated to the Friends of HE Parks foundation. The foundation provides scholarship funds to families facing financial hardships, so that their children can attend summer camp, take swimming lessons, participate in youth sports and more. The park district will start programming with the new archery range in the Spring of 2017.
